Ben, meet Ben

Day 2: Big Ben and the London Blitz.

Got this off my sight-seeing checklist on day 2. It was quite impressive in person. Also saw the theatre district, China town, the Queen's Walk, and had some great Chinese food at a place called The Phoenix.

One of the highlights of the day was the party Anna had at her flat in the evening. We made Spring rolls and chili sauce from scratch.

After sleeping like a log, I feel much better. Will keep the updates coming.

Ciao!

Hey Ben,

Well, we solved the mystery of the book under your travel book. So do we get the prize??!!

Paul, Jugie & Mom searched long and hard and broke the code.

The book is, "The Yiddish Policemen's Union" by Michael Chabon.

Yahoooooo! Big Ben should ring... Love you.

Yo yo!

I finally got to reading your blog. I'm liking the format of short and sweet posts. Some people write everything. Anyway, what was your time? We need some pics of you at the end just so we can be relieved that you made it to the end. And I'll second that motion for pics with Anna. And good call by Julianna et al. on Yiddish Policeman. After hearing that, it totally looks like they're right.

Dude, we need more posts! I'm visiting every day just in case that notification function doesn't work for some reason. What's up?

Well, I will have to cry myself to sleep again tonight. No new posts.

How's life at Stanford? Give Emily a hug... Hope to see you soon. Come on over for dinner sometime. ~Denise

well, it's official. I have now taken over the blog. I have posted more posts than the host. Additionally, I have people responding to my posts. I declare this blog Andrew's European Vacation. From now on, I will be posting things about my trip to Europe four years ago.

Denise, we will come over for dinner sometime. Thank you for the invitation. Now that we have this nice blog to set it up through, it will be much easier.

Hi again Andrew,

Can't wait to hear about your European vacation! What countries did you go to? Maybe we could do a theme dinner :)

(Dave--thanks for posting...I was glad to know Ben is still alive, anyway. I sure hope he checks this to discover that we won his 'guess his book' contest, and brings us back that European gift!)

until next time...I think Ben is supposed to return on Wednesday... au revoir!

wait a sec, my blog has been hijacked! Call the blog police!!

Correct on the book title. Prize will be on the way for Jugie and company.

Internet has been harder to find than I expected, thus the lack of posts. I'll have lots of pics to share soon!
